New London theatre experience Hollow Hotel launches in Bermondsey where guests have to escape their own murder – and you can even ‘die’
GETTING hunted down by a serial killer isn’t most people’s idea of fun.
Immersive theatre company differencENGINE is putting on a new production called Hollow Hotel – where you’ll do just that.
The production will see punters chased down by a serial killer – as they battle to escape death
The show is inspired by real life serial killer H.H. Holmes – who is said to have killed more than 200 people in 19th century America.
He built his own “murder hotel” which the production is based on.
It sees a space in Bermondsey transformed into a hotel that is having a grand opening after some time shut.
You won’t stay the night – thankfully – but you will be terrified during the one-and-a-half hour experience.
The experience is set inside a creepy hotel which has just reopened for business
Guests will also have the choice of picking their own journey of events, which will influence how their terrifying ordeal turns out.
It’s like Choose Your Own Adventure – but for adults who like seriously scary films. You can book tickets here.
A spokesperson for Hollow Hotel told us that there are several totally different ways that your experience could turn out.
So you could return again and again to see what else could happen.
The experience will run from the end of April until June and tickets are on sale now
The spokesperson told us that you can even “die” during the experience – although it won’t be the end of your evening. Gulp.
They said: “It’s the love child of Secret Cinema and Escape Rooms at the London Dungeon.”
DifferencENGINE previously put on Heist, an immersive theatre experience which saw people attempting to break into a secure room and pull off a huge burglary.

Hollow Hotel will run from April 19 to June 3 – but if it’s anything as popular as Heist, this could be extended.
Sun Online previously revealed that London cinema-goers will soon have all five senses stimulated with the most immersive cinema experience yet.
